Anglia Ruskin lecturer and playwright Fraser Grace has found inspiration in an unlikely place for his dark new comedy. ‘Kalashnikov, In The Woods By The Lake’ focuses on the inventor of the AK47, his daughter and a young journalist asking difficult questions. History, morality and the nature of invention all come under the microscope as the story of a gun created to fight off the Nazis unfolds. Grace shot to fame with west-end hit Breakfast With Mugabe, making this a hotly anticipated new play.

31 October, Robinson Theatre, Hills Road College CB2 8PE, 01223 278049
